About the Author

Hi, I'm Maximilian Müller — the researcher and writer behind vivavenly. I started this site because I got tired of buying home products based on reviews that were either superficial, sponsored, or both. vivavenly exists to cut through that noise with guides that are thorough, independent, and honest about what we don't know.

I focus on three categories where the science matters and the stakes are real: indoor air quality, water filtration, and sleep environment. These are areas where the wrong product doesn't just waste your money — it can quietly affect your health. I spend time understanding the underlying research, certifications, and testing standards so that the buying guides reflect how these products actually work, not just how they're marketed.

Our Methodology

Every guide on vivavenly is based on published research, independent lab data, and verified certification standards (NSF, CARB, Energy Star, etc.) rather than manufacturer claims. Where hands-on testing data is available from independent labs or credible consumer organizations, we reference and link it.

Product selection criteria are always stated explicitly: you'll know what we're measuring, why it matters, and what the trade-offs are between options. We don't include products simply because they're popular — we include them because they perform well against meaningful criteria.

We do not accept payment for product placement, sponsored reviews, or paid editorial coverage. No brand can pay to appear in — or be removed from — our guides.

Affiliate Disclosure

vivavenly participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click a product link and make a purchase on Amazon, vivavenly may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate commissions do not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. Products are evaluated on their merits. We may recommend products that don't have affiliate programs, and we will note any conflicts of interest where relevant.
